The word SpoGomi arises from Sport Gomihori, with Gomihori meaning the action of collecting X in Japanese.
In this World Cup, participants are given 20 minutes to collect X and to gather the most of X they can.
Then, they are given another 10-15 minutes to sort out this X into some categories.
Based on the meticulousness of the sorting, the speed, the amount of X collected, the winner is adjudged.
The City of Windhoek won the SPOGOMI Namibia Qualifiers. The X Titans team won the Palau qualifier. In Bangalore, the winning teams were One Man's X, SPAM X, SCRUB DADDIES, and Gujriwala. The first SpoGomi World Cup was won by Britain in 2023.What is X or what is SpoGomi?
