SqiTech #1

Arthur Hjalmar Sasse (20 Jan 1899 - November 1975) was an American UPI (United Press International) photographer who was trying to persuade X to smile for the photo but having smiled for many other photographers the same day, X decided to do something different.

This photographs became maybe one of the most popular of X and is also a household bedroom poster of science geeks. It has since been used as merchandise to depict X in a lighthearted way.

X really liked the photo and had a long conversation with Hjalmar afterwards, and he requested the UPI to give him 9 copies of his photo, to distribute amongst his close ones and a few for himself, one of which he signed specially from Hjalmar.

On June 19, 2009 the original signed photograph was sold at an auction for €74,324 (dollars).

Salesforce, recently in 2016, acquired a 20 year license to use this picture as a mascot for their company displaying genius and portraying its immense artificial intelligence, almost comparing X to an AI himself.

X? Which Photo?
